About
Salem West’s mission is to help families and individuals by providing new/gently used items to help fulfill their basic needs. As Salem West has grown and become more visible in our new location, we have noticed that not all the donations are helping us fulfill our mission, but they are helping to quickly fill our dumpsters! The amount we have spent on garbage disposal costs in the first 8 months of 2018 would have allowed us to purchase 45 dressers for our families! Due to this, we will be much more selective in the items we accept. This goes for items dropped off at Salem West and items picked up by our delivery crew.
