Sip & Savor

Description

Cuyuna Lakes Chamber’s Fourth Annual Sip & Savor, a tasting event, will be held Tuesday, May 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby. Sip & Savor features craft beer and wine tastings, appetizers and other specialties from area restaurants and caterers.

Barstock Liquor, Cuyuna Brewing Company and Maucieri’s Catering will provide a variety of beverages. Guests can sample numerous tasty appetizers including miniature fish taco bites, artichoke dip with pita bread, mini Cuban, noodle-less Lasagna, Italian panini, Thai lettuce wrap, antipasto kabobs, French onion beef sliders, cashew chicken salad on cranberry wild rice bread, and more. Participating members include Bridge Tavern, Cornerstone Coffee, Coach’s, The Deerstand, Heartwood Senior Living Community, Iron Range Eatery, Maucieri’s Italian Bistro, Mixed Company – A Kava House, and North Country Café.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy musical entertainment by Scott Lykins of the Lakes Area Music Festival. At the end of the evening, each attendee will be asked to vote by ballot for their favorite appetizer and desert. The winners will receive recognition by the Chamber and the media. Sip & Savor activities also include a silent auction and a raffle for a custom-made St. Croix fishing rod and reel. Proceeds from the evening will be used to market the Cuyuna Lakes business community and tourism area.

Sip & Savor pre-sale tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for the general public. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the Chamber at 218-546-8131. Call soon, as event- day tickets increase in cost to $30 for Chamber members and $40 for the public. Reservations are required by Friday, May 17.
