2021 Music in the Park – August 26

The Cuyuna Lakes Chamber welcomes the community to enjoy live local music while overlooking the beautiful shores of Serpent Lake at Crosby Memorial Park this Thursday. The sixth concert of the series is sponsored by Cuyuna Adventure Town U.S.A. on Thursday, Aug. 26 from 5-8 p.m. at Crosby Memorial Park on Serpent Lake. In the case on inclement weather, the concert will be postponed to the following Thursday, Sept. 2 at the same location and time. 

Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and enjoy the event. Concessions will be available. There will be giant bubbles and free face painting for children. Crosby Memorial Park also offers RV and tent campsites (reservations at www.cityofcrosby.com), boat access, picnic shelters, a large playground, giant serpent statue, WWII tank, skate park, softball field and a basketball court.

Enjoy live music by Tracy and Friends, and JPACK. 

Tracy and Friends is a newly formed group consisting of musicians from across the state. They will be performing a wide variety of folk and rock music, ranging from Joni Mitchell and James Taylor to Journey and Guns and Roses. The band consists of Jennifer Johnson (vocals, guitar), Aaron Perrine (vocals, keyboard), Dave Mosca (guitar), Travis Freudenberg (bass), and Nate LaCoursiere (drums). This Thursday is their debut!

JPACK is a neighborhood band based out of Aitkin, MN. The band was formed in 2013 by a group of friends and co-workers who simply enjoyed making music together and wished to share that love of music with the community. It has since grown into a group of six members with a wide variety of vocal and instrumental talents. Band members include Pat Perrine (Vocals/Guitar), Pat Sharbonda (Vocals/Guitar), Kathy Hakes-Fastner (Vocals/Guitar), Rich Courtemanche (Vocals/Bass), Gina Courtemanche (Violin/Mandolin/Percussion), and Jennifer Johnson (Vocals/Guitar/Ukulele/Percussion). They are also joined occasionally by Aaron Perrine (Vocals/Keyboard) and Larry Fontaine (Vocals/Guitar/Harmonica). JPACK performs a wide variety of music from the 60s to today, and enjoys any chance they get to share their music with others.
